Season: Wet Prey: Slowly Returning

It has been a couple of months since the golden boy has made his return. Already, the Pridelands are slowly reviving to the brilliance it once was. However, not all are favouring their new king. Some are bold with their feelings, like Tama, but others remain hidden and reserved like Zira. As life returns to the Pridelands, the time has come for the Lionesses to go into heat. More and more, Simba is plagued by doubt. But will the new king rise above this or succumb to the Whispers in the Dark?

The Pridelands
[ ]Pride Rock (4 sub-boards)
Pride Rock is the large, majestic kopje that is the gathering point for all animals of the Pridelands. This is the home of the Pridelanders, a large pride of lions that that rule the territory. When stepping foot on the ancient rock you will feel the age old traditions seep into you; the knowledge that countless generations of lions have lived, fought and died beneath your very feet.
217
[ ]The Acacia Grove (1 sub-board)
The Grove is a forest made up by hundreds of ancient Acacia trees that stretch out for several acres east of Pride Rock. Leopards tend to use the grove for their hunting, so lionesses tend to keep their cubs from wandering off too far.
28
[ ]Northern Plains (1 sub-board)
The Northern Plains are the prime hunting location for the Prideland lions. Located north of the Birthing Fields, most of the herds travel here to graze. The plains extend north, to the southern border of the Shadowlands, west to Croc River and east to the Acacia Grove and is undoubtedly the largest expanse of land in the Pridelands. This is also the main hunting location for the Prideland Cheetahs.
29
[ ]Birthing Fields (1 sub-board)
The birthing fields provide mothers of all species a peaceful place to birth and raise their young successfully. There are plenty of hidden spots for those who want privacy, or open spaces for herds on the move. Toward the eastern edge of the fields lays The Water Hole, the main water source for the Pridelands. The Birthing Fields are the only area in which predators are not allowed to hunt in the Pridelands.
28
[ ]Eastern Savannah (1 sub-board)
The Eastern Savannah is a very beautiful place. Located south-east of the Birthing Fields and south from Pride Rock and the Acacia Grove. It's the prime location for Zebra, Giraffe, Elephants, Wildebeest and other large creatures. It is here where the majority of traveling herds come from. Only the most experienced of lionesses hunt here, mainly for meals for the whole pride.

[ ]Western Hills (1 sub-board)
The Western Hills aren't very big, more like gentle slopes covered by soft, sweet scented grass found south of the Birthing Fields. Bordered by Croc River to the west, the Desert to the south-west, the Gorge to the south and the Eastern Savannah to the east. Smaller herd animals are found here, so naturally this is the prime area for young lionesses on their First Hunt. A massive boabab tree is located toward the south. During the evening hours, the hills become a well known romantic spot for younger animals of the Pridelands. On a clear night, it is one of the best locations to view the endless starry sky.
15
[ ]The Gorge (1 sub-board)
The Gorge is a very large canyon that spans across the Pridelands southern borders. During the rainy season, the Gorge floods into a large river. It empties to the south to a large thorn bush patch and beyond that lies the barren desert. Few lions ever venture here after the death of the famed King Mufasa.

The Shadowlands
[ ]Mist Canyon (1 sub-board)
Mist Canyon is aptly named for the mist that somehow forms along the floor. Ledges line the canyon, making it an excellet location for relaxing the day away. The Canyon is surrounded by the famed Elephant Graveyard.
00
[ ]The Elephant Graveyard
[image]
No one knows how these skellingtons came to rest here or when in fact. The Elephant Graveyard is a very disturbing place. It is always filled with fog and has a slight chill in the air. Massive elephant skellingtons litter the area and are home to very sly creatures. The Shadowlanders patroll the Graveyard daily, looking for an easy meal. The Elephant Graveyard is the heart of the Shadowlands.Toward the western edge lies Mist Canyon, to the east is Murky Lake and the Prideland border reigns south.
12
[ ]Murky Lake
[image]
Murky Lake is a vast lake that lies east of the Elephant Graveyard and it's southern banks skirt the Prideland borders. No one knows if the water is drinkable, but who would want to drink from this lake? The water is a eerie black and seems bottomless. Hyena pups splash around near the bank, careful of sticking close to the shore.
15
[ ]The Marsh
[image]
The Marsh is a very dangerous place and yet it's the sole water source for the Shadowlanders. The Marsh is a large swamp that lies west of Gyser Cave. Worn paths carefully mark the swamp, showing the safest of routes to Croc River. The Marsh is where the Crocodiles come to rest, so be sure to watch your step! That log may infact be your last step...

The Outlands
[ ]The Termite Mounds (1 sub-board)
The Termite Mounds are a massive structure that towers high into the sky. Naturally made by millions of termites, it's one of the only shelters of the Outlands. The Mounds are sevel hundred meters west from Croc River, and north of the Desert.
110
[ ]Hop Scotch Rocks
[image]
Hop Scotch Rocks are a nice little set of boulders that young animals can play upon. Found a few hundred meters from the western bank of Croc River and south-east of the Termite Mounds.
00
[ ]The Bone Trees
[image]
These trees aren't really giant bones, but mere husks of what they once were. A severe drought had destroyed the foliage and most wonder if they're even still alive. This dead forest is found north of the Termite Mounds, south of Deadmans's Cliff and span across the Outlands to the western border of Croc River.
14
[ ]Deadman's Cliff
[image]
Deadman's Cliff is a massive cliff located north of the Bone Trees. Soaring up a hundred meters, it is undoubtly the highest point in all of the land. The Cliff edge meets the western bank of Croc river. A thin trail leads from the Bone Trees up to the top of the cliff where dry plains stretch out as far as the eye can see.
00
[ ]Croc River
[image]
Croc River is the main water source of the Outlands. The river twisting and turning for miles, seperating the Outlands from both the Pridelands and the Shadowlands. At its name implies, the river had a rather large crocodile population.
00
[ ]The Tribe
[image]
Towards the edge of the northern border lies a ghost village. Remanents of an ancient human tribe lingers here in a relatively good condition. Huts and fences give animals shelter and things to play with.
00
Other Lands
[ ]The Desert
[image]
The Desert is a vast, barren land. The ocasional Oryx herd travels through here to reach Deadman's Cliff in the Outlands. The Desert is south-east of the Western Hills, west of the Gorge and south of Hop Scotch Rocks.
00
[ ]The Jungle (1 sub-board)
Far west from the Desert is the Jungle. A beautiful and lush location that is full of rare foliage and animals alike. It is only here that you can find the delicious Okapi and the dangerous Gorillas. In the center of the Jungle are massive waterfalls.
00
[ ]The Grasslands
[image]
The Grasslands stretch out in all directions just west of the Jungle's borders. Not much is known about this vast land, only that the majority of rouges come from here.
